Shipping & Delivery Information

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Normal processing can take 24-48 hours, and upon verification & approval, your merchandise is shipped out immediately. Ace Photo & Digital offers convenient shipping methods for delivery within the continental United States. Please keep the following in mind when choosing a delivery method: Shipping times represent the time it normally takes your package to arrive from the day we actually send it out, not from the day you submit your order. Additionally, processing & shipping times do not include non-business days (i.e., Saturdays, Sundays, & holidays). Thus, for example, an order for UPS 2nd-day delivery placed on Thursday could take until Tuesday to arrive at its destination, assuming processing is completed within 24 hours and the package ships out on Friday (Friday + 2 business days = Tuesday). It could take longer if the order cannot be processed in time to be shipped out on Friday. The same is true for the other delivery options. Also, while we maintain a huge stock of all our products, it is wise to call for availability if your order is especially urgent.

Ground shipping is not available for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

TAX:  Items shipped to New York will have apropriate state sales tax added to the order total.

 

PLEASE READ REGARDING ORDERS PLACED ON FRIDAY:

If expecting Air Shipping on an order placed Friday, please make sure order reaches us before 11:00AM, Eastern Time. Air Shipping would include Overnight, 2nd Day Air and 3rd Day. Express Mail or any other carrier service would need to be arranged by phone. Same-day shipping on Friday air orders placed after the Noon cutoff time cannot be guaranteed.

 

IMPORTANT REGARDING SHIPMENTS TO CANADA

  • ALL orders, including exchanges and returns shipped to addresses outside the USA will incur all duties, taxes and brokerage fees applicable.
  • There are no alternate shipping methods available, and by submitting your order you have agreed to these terms, conditions and all associated fees.
  • Please do not request specific shipping methods, as we are not able to honor such requests.
  • Duties are imposed by the receiving country, independent of Ace Photo & Digital. We are not responsible and have no way of knowing what the duty charge will be.
  • Brokerage fees are imposed and collected by the carriers and once shipped, you will be required to forward this brokerage fee directly to the carrier.
  • Please allow a minimum of 14-21 days for deliveries to Canada.


IMPORTANT: ALTERNATE SHIPPING ADDRESSES

If the address to which your order is being shipped differs from your billing address (the address to which your monthly credit card statement is sent), please use the toll-free number on the front or back of your card to contact your credit card company and create an "Alternate Shipping Address", which is simply a note on your account authorizing purchases that are delivered to a destination other than your billing address. Failure to do so may considerably delay the processing of your order.


SPECIAL NOTE: OVERSIZED ITEMS

Most, if not all, items in each of the following categories are classified as oversized:

  • Telescopes
  • Printers
  • Scanners

 

All oversized items will be delivered via Ground shipping. Many are also subject to additional shipping charges on top of those indicated in your purchase total, in which case you will be notified by phone or e-mail regarding the final charge, with the option to confirm or cancel your order. We accept personal & bank checks drawn from USA banks, and USA bank/postal service money orders in US dollars, but cannot ship goods until such funds clear. Make sure when mailing such payments that you include the order submission number, and if possible, a printout of your shopping cart and checkout forms.
You may indicate COD (within USA only), but this payment option is subject to certain restrictions and requires that shipping and handling be secured by a credit card. We would need to contact you before shipping, to supply the exact amount for which you will have to tender the COD payment.
Our order checkout form is on a secure server, to protect your credit information.

We allow shipping to destinations outside the USA, or to alternate addresses, subject to certain conditions depending on the destination. To process credit card payment on some alternate address delivery and all overseas delivery online orders, we require copies sent to us of the front and back of the cardholders drivers license, passport or photo ID. It is recommended that you fax this info 1-718-437-8895, including your order number for reference. You may also scan this information and email it, but email lacks the level of security provided through the fax. We need this to protect both the card holders and ourselves from credit card and identity fraud, which is rampant overseas. Scans should be in jpg, or gif format ONLY, filenames identified. We will not download emails with any other type of attachment. Our order form has a field where you can indicate if such a scan or fax is coming to us.

All credit card orders are subject to verification. Please make sure you supply any requested information, and provide us with easy means of getting back to you if need be, so that your order can be processed without unnecessary delays.

All deliveries require signature. We are neither responsible for the failure of the carrier to demand this, nor can we request that they do not. Customers are responsible for facilitating proper delivery by carrier. S&H is not refundable on refused or undeliverable shipments.

 


Return or Replacement Policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receipt, for a refund, or a replacement , subject to the following:

  1. Contact Ace Photo Digital to receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, to ensure proper handling of the return, and/or replacement. Products cannot be returned without an RMA number.
  2. Returned merchandise must be in its original unopened mint condition, as shipped, with all packaging, manuals, and paperwork intact, and unaltered.
  3. Only items not listed in the ,Non-Returnable Categories, (please see below) are returnable. Items in the Categories below are not returnable due to hygienic, sanitary, or other reasons, as required by the respective Manufacturers.
  4. Only the purchase price of the product is refundable. Customers remain responsible for the shipping and handling expenses incurred in shipping the item to them. If an item is offered with Free Shipping, this means that we are paying the freight on behalf of the Customer. If that product is returned for a refund, the shipping expenses incurred, will be deducted from the refund.
  5. All returned items are subject to a 10% restocking fee. If the item has been opened, and is no longer in its original mint condition, restocking fees will be higher. So please restrict your Returns to unopened items in their original condition. For specific restocking fees applicable to your Return, please contact us at cs@acephotodigital.com.
  6. Returns should be packed in an outer shipping carton, to avoid defacing the original box/packing of the product. The RMA# should be clearly inscribed on the shipping label. A copy of your invoice and Order # should be included, and your Return should be insured, with shipping costs pre-paid.
  7. If the Return is due to our error, please return the product via UPS Standard Shipping, and we will reimburse you the Standard Shipping expenses incurred, or we will provide you with a pre-paid Shipping Label, at your preference.
  8. Non-Returnable Categories Include:

    Purchases from these non returnable categories are final. In case any of these items is defective, Customer must return them to the respective authorized service centers, for repair or replacement at the option of the Manufacturer. These items cannot be returned to the Merchant.

  10. Special Shipping Items
    • Special order restrictions also apply to items that are shipped by special freight truckers or airport-to-airport, or that require special handling or packing. The product listings would disclose this.
